London based foursome, The Tricks, consisting of Joel & Ashley Hodge, John Bisset and Eliot Crabtree are all ready and set to release their new single ‘Part Time Lover’ on July 8th.
The Power pop song, which is quite similar in the build up to that other band, the Kooks, blends indie and pop music beautifully together. A solid beat, punchy hooks and memorable melodies, steered by impressive lead vocals of Joel Hoedge and sunny backing harmonies make ‘Part Time lover’ more than while listening to.
Apart from the launch of their new single in a few days, the band are also launching their own monthly club night Bop! Club this Wednesday 11thJuly.
The newly refurbished Hysteria in East London, Dalston will host ‘Bop! Club’ every month starting from 11th July. The club night, will be free entry and is set to be a night for those who like to dance to pop, rock & roll, indie and northern soul.
The launch night will feature a performance from the hosts themselves, The Tricks, along with various other guest DJs.
