Singer/Songwriter Lemar is making his long awaited come back with a brand new single ‘Invincible’ The singer, who in March was rumored to be one of the artists in negotiation with the BBC to represent the UK at Eurovision, is returning to the scene with a brand new sound, and an album later in the year.
Lemar is one of the UK’s most successful British solo acts, being in the industry for 10 years, having had seven Top 10 singles and selling over two million albums. Who could forget his hits like ‘Dance (With U)’, ’50/50′, ‘If There’s Any Justice’ and ‘Time To Grow’ which all featured on his latest album ‘The Hits’ back in 2010. Even though the past two years have been very low key for Lemar publicly he hasn’t been relaxing. He’s set up his own record label, which allowed him to experiment with new sounds and produce incredible new tracks, which are perfect for the next Lemar chapter.
And believe us ‘Invincible’ is definitely a new chapter. The new track is a dreamy, uplifting pop melody showcasing not only Lemar’s singing talent but his incredible song writing skills. As for the theme of the song “Sticking together is what makes you invincible. When times are hard, it’s important to stick together and know what your values are.” are the words of the two time Brit Award and three time MOBO Award winner.
‘Invincible’ was produced and recorded in London and Los Angeles, and will be out on August 12.
